【摘要】:Liquefiedpetroleumgasesandtheirproductsofcombustionmustnotbeundulycorrosivetothematerialswithwhichtheycomeincontact.ThepotentialpersonnelexposurehazardsofH2Salsomakethedetectionandmeasurementofhydrogensulfideimportant,eveninlowconcentrations.Inaddition,insomecasestheodorofthegasesmustnotbeobjectionable.(SeeSpecificationD1835andGPA2140.)1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedetectionofhydrogensulfideinliquefiedpetroleum(LP)gases.Thesensitivityofthetestisabout4mg/m3(0.15to0.2grainofhydrogensulfideper100ft3)ofgas.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
